About the Donation Support Event ／ Donation Points Eventとは
The main purpose of the Donation Points Event is to connect people’s feelings of support for their favorite characters with donations to participating countries.
Through the support of fans, this project aims to contribute to friendship and cultural exchange between Japan and countries around the world through local characters.
The donations collected through this event will be used to promote participating overseas characters in Japan, where character culture is well established. This will help increase awareness of these characters in Japan.
Instead of simply clicking a “Support by Voting” button, supporters can apply their donation as points for their favorite character.
After making a donation, supporters can apply to give points to their favorite character. 1/100 of the donated amount will be awarded to the selected character as Donation Points.
As a thank-you, donors will receive a postcard from the Japan Local Character Association.
「推しキャラを応援したい」という想いを、各国の寄付へと繋げ、ファンの応援が海外と日本のキャラクターを通じた友好の架け橋になる事業に貢献するというのが今回のDonation Points Eventの最大の目的です。
この寄付を利用して、海外キャラがキャラクター文化の根付く日本へのプロモーション事業を行うことにより、日本での認知度を高めます。
「応援投票する」ボタンで投票させるのではなく、応援者が申請することでポイント化する仕組みとなります。
寄付後に推しキャラへのポイント申請をすると、寄付額の1/100が推しキャラに付与されます。
寄付された方には日本ご当地キャラクター協会からお礼のポストカードが送られます。
About Donations ／ 各国への寄付について
The Japan Local Character Association supports local characters and other characters that contribute to regional development, and works to build a network connecting them.
All donations collected through this event will be used to promote overseas characters in Japan and to support friendship and cultural exchange between Japanese and international characters.
Donations can be made by credit card through Square, an online payment service.

How to Support ／ 応援方法
Click the country you want to donate to above and complete the payment.
You will be redirected to Square, an online payment service.

You will receive an email with the subject:
“Receipt from Japan Local Character Association”
You will need the receipt number starting with # and the date and time of the donation when you apply for support points.
Please keep this email until you have completed your support point application.
「Receipt from Japan Local Character Association」というタイトルのメールが届きます。
ポイント申請時に金額の横の#から始まる番号と、日時を使用しますので、メールは保管しておいてください。
① Log in to LINE. Then, open the Support Vote Top Page and tap the “Donation Support Event” event.
② Select the character you want to support with your points.
③ On the character’s page, enter the receipt number and the date and time of your donation.
You can find this information in the receipt email you received after making your donation.
Then, click the “I understand and want to support” button.

The system checks donation records once a day.
Once a donation has been confirmed, Donation Points will be added to the selected character in order.
寄付の有無を1日に1回システムで確認し、寄付が確認したものから順次ポイント付与されます。 - When will I receive my postcard?（ポストカードはいつ届きますか。）

Postcards are sent out together at regular intervals.
Delivery is expected to take approximately 2 weeks at the earliest and 1–2 months at the latest
